Al-Khattabi said: “Ad-Dayyaan is the One Who recompenses and also means the Judge.” Al-Haleemi said: “Ad-Dayyaan is the One Who takes account and recompenses. He Who recompenses the good with good and evil with evil, and never He will allow to be lost the work of anyone, be he male or female.” Ibn al-Atheer said: “Ad-Dayyaan is the Irresistible Who subdues the people to His obedience.”
