الغَفَّارُ

Al-Ghaffaar - The Forgiver, The Ever-Forgiving, The Most-Forgiving. he word Al-Ghaffaar points to His immense and constant forgiveness of sins.

Allah سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَٰلَىٰ is Al-Ghaffar (in Arabic: ٱلْغَفَّارُ), He sees our sins and disobedience, yet He still forgives and accepts the repentance of the sincere. He shows never-ending compassion and forgiveness, no matter how big or small the sin. He is the most forgiving and loves to forgive.

Occurrence: Al-Ghafoor: 91 times; Al-Ghafaar: 5 times; Ghaafir-udh-Dhanb: once.

Evidence: “Allah is the Ever-Forgiving, the Most Merciful.” (Surah 42 «Ash-Shura» , Ayah 5);

“Is He not indeed the Almighty, the Endlessly Forgiving?” (Surah 39 «Az-Zumar» , Ayah 5);

“The Forgiver of sin, the Acceptor of repentance…” (Surah 40 «Al-Ghaafir» , Ayah 3)
