Al-Qaahir - The Irresistible, Supreme. He is the One before whom everyone, including tyrants, is humbled. He is also the One who prevails over all His creation and to whom everyone and everything submits.

The Name of Allah (Subhaanahu wa Ta’ala), Al-Qaahir, is mentioned is the Qur’an twice. Allah (Subhaanahu wa Ta’ala) said وهو القاهِرُ فَوْقَ عِبَادهِ ويُرْسِلُ عَلَيْكم حَفَظَة“He is the Irresistible (Supreme) over His slaves, and He sends guardians (angels guarding and writing all of one’s good and bad deeds) over you.” (Surah 6 «Al-An'aam» , Ayah 61)

Also Allah (Subhaanahu wa Ta’ala) said وَهُوَ الْقَاهِرُ فَوْقَ عِبَادِهِ وَهُوَ الَحكِيم الخبير“And He is the Irresistible (Supreme), above His slaves, and He is the All-Wise, the Well-Acquainted with (all things).” (Surah 6 «Al-An'aam» , Ayah 18)

“…And He is the One, the All-Dominant.” (Surat Al-Ahzaab, 13:16);
